Anxiety Hacks

If you suffer from anxiety, you know just how much it can affect your daily life. A lot of times you don’t know when anxiety will rear it’s ugly head so it is best to be prepared! Here is one simple anxiety hack that you can use the next time you are feeling anxious.

This is called the grounding technique: next time you feel anxiety try this:

  1. Notice 5 things you see around you
  2. Notice 4 things you can touch around you
  3. Notice 3 things you hear
  4. Notice 2 thing you can smell
  5. Notice 1 thing you can taste

Continue to repeat this process until the anxiety ceases. This is also a great technique to bring present moment awareness into your life!
